The group you'll be a part of

In the Global Products Group, we are dedicated to excellence in the design and engineering of Lam's etch and deposition products. We drive innovation to ensure our cutting-edge solutions are helping to solve the biggest challenges in the semiconductor industry.

• Operational proficiency of clean processing equipment and wafer metrology tools
• Along with engineering team, prepare equipment and execute test plans
• Analyze and interpret data to draw inferences and make recommendations
• Perform baseline qualifications of lab tools, identify problems, and work with appropriate team to resolve issues
• Assist process engineers in execution, data collection and test reporting of customer demos

• Completed technical education with a focus on Chemistry (LAP with experience/HTL/Chemical College)
• 2+ years of applicable experience, preferably in semiconductor/electronics industry
• Familiarity with working in a chemical laboratory
• Good problem solving and data analysis skills
• Good communication skills and ability to write engineering test reports, including analysis, conclusions and follow-up actions
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work in a team

A valid work permit for Austria is required for this position.

What we're offering

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry (https://www.metalltechnischeindustrie.at/fileadmin/content/Dokumente/Kollektivvertrag/KV-2025_2026/FMTI_Mindesgehaltstabelle_2025.pdf) in the occupation group D-E depending on educational background. A higher payment is negotiable depending on education, expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
